BREAKING NEWS – 07.03.2024

In a press release of February 29, 2024, Pozzi Milano SpA – Company active in the table fashion industry, owner of the “EasyLife” brand, and through its subsidiary Pozzi Brand Diffusion Srl, of the historical brands “Pozzi” and “Castello Pozzi” – reported its preliminary unaudited results and key KPIs for the 2023 fiscal year.

The Company generated, during 2023, sales revenues of approximately € 18.20 million, marking a slight decrease from the equivalent figure recorded as of December 31, 2022, amounting to € 20.04 million. The decrease in sales revenue of approximately 9.0 % is mainly attributable to the current trend in the target market. Nevertheless, in 2023 Pozzi Milano was able to generate sales revenues from sales operations (net of those made through promotional channels) of € 16.60 million, registering a substantially unvaried result compared to FY22A.

The year 2023 was characterized by a worldwide scenario that remained marked by profound uncertainties. In this context, the Company achieved positive performance, particularly in international markets, generating about 77.0% of its revenues abroad. In particular, the presence of Pozzi Milano and its brands was concentrated in Western Europe, especially in France, the Americas and the Middle East. The Company also continued to make significant investments in its products, seizing business development opportunities consistent with its growth plan. As proof of its commitment to international expansion, Pozzi Milano, in fact, renewed in January a prestigious contract, for a value of approximately € 1.10 million, with a major Mexican retail chain for the supply of tablewear products.

At the customer level, Pozzi Milano has produced positive results: at the end of 2023, the Company recorded a total number of B2B customers of 2,078, marking an increase of about 6.0% compared to 1,972 customers in 2022. Out of these, 1,942 are attributable to the retail sector, showing an increase of about 7.0% over the 2022 figure.

The 2023 fiscal year also shows excellent results in terms of NFP, which stands at € 1.40 million and shows a clear improvement from € 2.70 million in FY22A due to the positive cash flows produced during the year from operations.

In conclusion, despite a not particularly favorable market landscape, the Company managed to achieve positive overall results, confirming the validity and proper continuation of its development strategy, with clear successes at the level of overseas business growth and B2B customer expansion.

Taking the press release into consideration, while waiting to meet with management and evaluate the 2023 fiscal results, we confirm our recommendation: target price € 1.75, rating BUY and risk MEDIUM.
