In the press release of May 15, 2024, SolidWorld Group, a leading Group Company in digital technologies, 3D printing, 3D bio-fabrication, and cutting-edge photovoltaic panel production lines, announced that it has launched on the market Leatherworks, the first Artificial Intelligence application to revolutionize the design of leather accessories.\u00a0

The software application, entirely developed in-house, is able to automatically generate numerous models of leather bags and accessories in 3D in a very short time, according to the technical and style parameters input, all from the designer\u2019s sketch. Once the aesthetic solution has been chosen, the innovative CAD3D-AI Leatherworks software handles the entire design and execution process independently, allowing the designer complete freedom of expression.

The Machine Learning process makes it possible, starting from just an initial design, to quickly learn how to make any type of accessory (such as a bag), based only on an initial sketch. The AI algorithm created by SolidWorld Group specifically for this new application is able to process a complete production flow through this process and greatly facilitate the creation of new products.\u00a0

The company also reported that the software has already attracted interest in the market, enough to be purchased by a leading French luxury handbag manufacturer for \u20ac 0.70 million.\u00a0
